# Approving students via public share link (request approval method)

If you have distributed a public sign-up link that requires approval, some students may inform you that they are awaiting access.

To review and approve these requests, please follow the steps below:

1.  Navigate to the relevant course on the platform.
2.  Select the **‘Users’** tab.
3.  A **red notification icon** will indicate the number of students awaiting approval.
4.  Open the dropdown menu and select **‘Requests’**.
5.  You will see a list of pending student requests. Click **‘Approve’** next to each name to grant access to the course.

Once approved, students will be able to access the course content as normal.
