# Create and manage classes

**1\. Access the Classes tab** 

-   Navigate to the **Classes** tab on the left-hand panel. 
-   Click **Create a Class**. 

**2\. Enter class details** 

-   Input the **class name** (e.g., *Year One, Class B*). 
-   Select the **class status**. You have four options, with **Studying** being the recommended default status, allowing teachers to access course materials at any time. 

**3\. Create the Class** 

-   Click **Create** to finalise the class setup. 

**4\. Assign Courses and Teachers** 

-   Once the class is created, you can: 
    -   **Assign courses** the students will be learning. 
    -   **Assign teachers** who will deliver the lessons.
