Adding students and teachers

1. Prerequisite 

  • Ensure you have created a class
  • Watch/read the Creating and Managing Classes tutorial if needed. 

2. Navigating to the correct screen 

  • Go to the User button within an existing class. 
  • Click Teachers from the drop-down menu. 
  • In the top right-hand corner of the Teachers screen, click Assign teachers. 
  • A pop-up menu will appear. In the pop-up menu: 

3. Option: Add Teachers individually with email addresses: 

  • If the teacher is already registered on the platform, type their email address, select their profile, and click Invite
  • If the teacher is not yet registered, enter their email address and click Invite

4. Option: Add Teachers in Bulk (CSV File Method) 

  • On the pop-up menu click Import
  • Use the provided CSV template to enter teacher details in the relevant columns (First Name, Last Name, Email Address). 
  • Save the file as a CSV
  • Return to the Import section, click Browse files, and upload your saved CSV file. 
  • Review the list of teachers and click Import

5. Option: Add Teachers Without Email Addresses 

  • Use the username and password CSV template provided. 
  • Fill in usernames and passwords for each teacher. 
  • Save the file as a CSV
  • Return to the Import section, click Browse files, and upload your saved CSV file. 
  • Click import 

6. Option: Invite Teachers Using a Public Link 

  • Click the Copy invitation link button to copy the link. 
  • Share the link with teachers, allowing them to sign up by entering their email. 
  • You can choose the most effective method for adding teachers, depending on your needs.
